The money quote-

Passing the buck right on back to everyone else.

>We can't help but do what everyone keeps throwing money at us for, demanding we make more money out of it! We're helpless! We have no influence whatsoever on what gets done with all that Capital or the fact we're asking for it anyways!

My view:

This is buck passing necessitated by the fact we systematically rule out taking risks except by a small cadre of people with so much money they alone can take risks without existential risks facilitated by the fundamentally extractive nature of a consumption based economy.
