Windows users are relegated to third-party apps, and even they don't come close to that in functionality. Merging and rearranging is such a pain, I've even resorted to using web apps on questionable sites sometimes.

Maybe that balances out against the fact that Mac OS has rudimentary window management and users need third party apps to fill that gap while Windows has decent window management built in. :-)
