I've been attempting the bullet journal method in the past year but each time it has ended in pages of random scribbles.

How do you balance order while also allowing creativity and in the moment fleshing out of ideas?

I have a small notebook I carry around sometimes. When it's full my next notebook is going to follow the Bullet Journaling method.
