I came here to say the same thing and I'm not even near Ottawa. I'm not sure why you were downvoted, but possibly because Americans have no idea just how big of a deal this was. Convoy will probably be a horrible word for the next few years at least to most Canadians. I know this will have no effect to the company and they won't rename anything, nor should they, but it stands to be known.
Exactly. I'm not expecting anything and wasn't even suggesting it, just wanted to speak my mind. But yeah. I just hope people realize that Canada essentially had a domestic terrorism event. No deaths, but it was extremely disruptive to the local economy and to residents for nearly a full month. People couldn't sleep due to trucks honking, couldn't walk the streets without getting harrassed for wearing a mask, BIPOC were scared for their safety in their own neighborhoods, etc.
