GNU makes great software that is seldom marketed or talked about. That's a real shame because Taler looks like something I'd be happy to use compared to Apple/Google pay or Crypto.

Does GNU taler support any payment gateways for VISA MASTERCARD in Europe? If not how are regular merchants supposed to use it?

They don't appear to yet support any connections to real world money. The merchant api appears intended to connect to a bank that supports Taler, but no such banks yet exist.

So we would need a GNU TALER compatible bank. I see. Thanks for the analysis.
