I think 99% of the population will be more secure using a non-self-hosted PW manager (e.g. bitwarden) than following the directions here.

and afaik know, bitwarden is Client side encrypted and open sourced, so ideally bitwarden servers themselves shouldn't have access to your password even if you don't self host, Unless your master password gets leaked
