This week two years ago, I launched my fiction podcast The Program audio series on HN. Since then, the show grew to 22 episodes and has recently surpassed 300,000 downloads. I wanted to mark the occasion with the third instalment in a series of articles chronicling the show's growth. I write these updates primarily with the HN audience in mind - HN is still my 3rd biggest source of traffic after Twitter and Reddit, and there are multiple members who were instrumental for the The Program's success: bberenberg,
gnicholas and maneesh for sponsoring individual episodes, hendi_ for being the Program's most generous patron, narrationbox for their synthetic voices, and of course everybody else who gave the series a listen and helped it grow.

My first collaboration with another HNer was with IMS and The Program. I remember reaching out to him to see if he would be interested in working together since both his series and my technology were popular among HNers. He was game, and now BeeLine Reader is available on his website and transcripts for The Program.
Since then, I’ve done collaborations with other HNers, and there are a couple more in the works. Love this community (and The Program, which comes for us all)!
