And in the paper, from the abstract,

In preliminaries,

> The Faithfulness assumption is that no conditional correlation among the variables is zero unless it is necessarily so given the Markov property.

So probably a more accurate laymam description would be "not all causations are observable as a statistical correlation relationship".
