I started using a phone with GrapheneOS recently and, whilst I occasionally miss Google Maps, most of the Google services I don't miss. But not having push on some many apps is quite annoying. It's nice to see that some apps have actually implemented UnifiedPush and it's not just a specification.

My experience has been that Maps works fine without Google Play services, the only issue being a popup/notification that says you "need" services to use the app.
