It would read: "Chance of recovery improves from 98 to 99 percent." Chemotherapy regularily kills people. I would absolutely consider it. Taking a lot of pain to get a chance at extending my life.

Chemo is a good example. It's used in a situation of last resort where probability of dying is already very high and if I were in that situation, I would too.
