OP here. This is the first draft of the first part of my e-book on learning Scheme for Max and s7 Scheme. It's intended to be a "get up and running as fast as possible" guide, so low on theory, doesn't cover everything, but gets a new coder working productively with a minimum of fuss. As I know there are many experienced lispers here, and a fair whack of musicians, I'd love any feedback, corrections, requests, etc. This is still in editing stage, but I wanted to get early feedback, and just get it into hands asap. I'll read any feedback here, but github issues on the book repo are good too!
