Not until the glibc too gets rewritten in Rust ;)

A project existed[1], but was abandoned since then, so I don't think it will happen anytime soon.

Too bad about the crappy license.

There are Linux distros supporting to musl instead of glibc and they work fine (with some drawbacks, when it comes to proprietary apps).
