Ask HN: Are there still Angular developers at all?
1 point by Michael_Sieb on Feb 15, 2021 | hide | past | favorite | 6 comments

This is an interesting topic. I actually still code in Angular as think it has a more holistic approach than React. However, I might be biased as I am more experienced in Angular than say React. I will follow up the comments to learn from other fellow HN’ers.

I also have the feeling that everyone has switched to React or Vue. However, Angular is still taught at our university. But nice to see that there are still Angular developers out there !

Angular is a typical example of a good framework that got abandoned because most clients are too dump to appreciate it's virtues.

In our team, we use Angular for internal work, and React for customer work. Just because that's how sad life is.

Isn't it hard to switch back and forth between both frameworks?

Easy; different people do it.

I'm not an Angular developer. I'm a generalist who uses Angular when necessary. Likewise for every other framework or language you can think of. I don't really give a damn what language/framework I'm using as long as I get paid, except for VB6. You couldn't pay me enough to touch that again.
