Atlanta scheduling startup Calendly raises $350M, surpasses $3B valuation (bizjournals.com)

They have at least 2 competitors: Appointlet (5 people) and Harmonizely (2 people). How did this company get $350M for linking calendars. Harmonizely has more features (e.g. CalDAV integration)! Both have more generous free tiers

Calendly on the other hand, hasn't cared to add CalDAV integration since 2016: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/245299227...

After reading your comment, I checked out both. Bad User Experience. Calendly just works for the 99% of the normal people who have no idea what CalDAV is. I like CalDAV but more like a good-to-have.

I almost liked harmonizely just because of the fact I can setup custom domain but after trying out for an hour or so, I think I will have to wait for Calendly to start sucking before I come back here.

Saying "Bad User Experience" without explaining is just saying, "Bad" or "Bad product". It doesn't help, and I would say discredits you. Not sure what you mean.

Some improvements they can make: - Support OAuth2 and immediate Google Cal integration - Use modern UI (they have dated (~2017/2018 style) but very functional UI)

But I don't care about either of these features.

I'm sorry I didn't go into the details of my experience. I respect your decision of not caring about some aspects of a product. That is a valid point to like/dislike a product.

I'm thinking of using Harmonizely for my company - I like the custom domain feature. Personally, I will stay with Calendly and will also try my best to ask them to add custom domain and CalDAV.
