If someone takes the time to properly report a issue and follow up after I follow up, of course I take the time to try to help them, if I can.

But that doesn't mean you have to respond. It is nice if you do, but we should not add the expectation that you'll get help from maintainers.

I think all these conversations are about the expectation to get helped, not that it's nice if we do help.
