Installing failed three times in a row (2/12, 6/12, 9/12gb). Still on latest Catalina but most apps don't load after restart. Every other minute my Mac stops working for a few seconds. Guess will stop work and check back tomorrow morning.

Disconnect from your wifi/internet for a couple minutes and reconnect. Should fix things.

It's trustd connecting to ocsp.apple.com
Blocking that connection fixes it, because OCSP is a soft failure.

Also, see a lot of blank screens within apps for 20-30 seconds. For example Dropbox or Chrome. Than content within UI loads.
