Last time i regularly saw that sort of thing it was MSIE vs netscape navigator. *as a firefox user. I imagine if i used something really obscure it would happen more often.

As a Firefox user, I regularly see sites that ask me to switch over to Chrome. Even some very mainstream open-source projects only support Chrome properly.
