The lawsuit claims that when Apple replaces the retina display on a 15" MacBook Pro covered by the AppleCare extended warranty, the owner has to share the cost of this service. I'm surprised to hear that. Apple has replaced the display on several my 15" MacBook Pro laptops at no cost to me. Are there different levels of AppleCare?
