I like obtrusive scrollbars that the browser provides. As well as toolbars and full menus, and separate search and address bars, and address bars that actually have the full address in them, and status bar that tells me a useful status. Most importantly none of those elements should be able to be affected by the site im visiting.

If modern UI designers were making a car they would replace the fuel gauge with just the light saying you need gas, the RPMs would be gone completely, and the speedometer would just say to hurry up or slow down.
