cutting off 1.0 immediately sounds quite harsh, I wonder what kind of user base it has?

Many big projects tend to manage around 3 version lines. Since Storm 2.0 is out, there're three version lines for 2.x, 1.2.x, 1.1.x. 1.0.x could be EOL-ed.


That's because they'll be maintaining the 1.1.x and 1.2.x branches...
