Sorry, but unless browsers srart interpreting typescript directly, I won't be using it. I'm done with flavor of the month preprocessors. I'll code in the base language and focus on developing my skills there.
I totally get your point and I would think the same if all browsers supported ES6. But right now I would transpile just to use ES6, and TS adds a lot of goodies on top of that.
Also, TS is pretty stable and proved its value, it isn't a flavor of the month transpiler.
