So .. it would make sense to make a law that requires new parking spaces to have a solar roof which can charge the cars which park there for a few. This would spread rather quickly, I think.
I have solar panels at home and can charge a car .. but I'm mostly parked elsewhere when the sun is shining the most.
So do we, but you can't produce the electricity at one location and consume it in another. In the non-practical sense where our government decided that this is not possible.

"If we threaten people with the state monopoly on violence, they'll do that thing I want."
Sure, probably true!
If solar parking lots are such a great idea, why do you need the threat? It seems like businesses or environmental groups would already be clamoring to install them.
PV parking is a highly visible status symbol and good PR signal for your community or company (hence the few installations), but actually it isn't a great RoI either financially or for the environment.
Sorry - I wasn’t explicit enough. The vast majority of existing and new developments where I live have on street parking - it’s not allocated, there’s no bays.
The options for men (besides condoms) are not much better.
I'm not asking my partner (I'm married) to take any hormones while I wouldn't take any myself.
The problem is that much medicine was developed by men for a long time.
Female doctors are a (relatively) recent development and I'm sure they the situation will improve over time (maybe not in trumpet America) in civilised parts of the world.

I have talked about it before, but silodosin prevents ejaculation (but not orgasm) in men, which can be seen as a contraceptive. It is non-hormonal, it is an alpha-blocker. You would have to experiment with it, however.
Once during the first 3 months because I questioned the design of the software I was supposed to develop.. I was told that I was discussing too much.
Another time I started doing exact what was asked of me and did some side projects at the same time...I was so bored. Got fired after some time and told that I was incompetent. The reason for my behaviour was they way management behaved towards me.
I later heard that the company lost millions because of this.
A third time I got unfriendly with a manager who was a nasty human and reported him to HR. This got me fired rather quickly.
Dear OP .. why are you spending so much time at work that you hate?
A large toolbox containing different programming languages will allow you to solve some problems easier than knowing one language only.
Perhaps Rust, C, Python, Bash (for CI stuff).
Find a pattern book and at read it to learn the basic patterns .. and anti patterns.
If you only have a hammer then everything looks like nails ..
Learn Ubuntu or some other flavour of Linux or *BSD. It's free and contains usually all the tools you need. This makes sense if you have the time to learn. Usually you have time to learn while young ..
> "and the only way to listen to music while driving is if you bring along your phone and a Bluetooth speaker"
Why not make a physical connection (power/network) and define a form factor for entertainment system with or without screen and speakers and let other companies design something to fit the space available. I don't understand why no one does this instead of selling cars full of crappy software that can't be upgraded.
This is not plug and play. I want plug and play. You could even make an entertainment system which just runs using a phone connected using usb or bt.. which would make it just like android auto but without needing the car to support anything from google.
I had one manager that was awesome. He didn't know anything about programming, software or development, but he was awesome at networking and asking the right questions of our customers and making the employees feel being appreciated.
The bean counters got him fired because on paper he wasn't selling anything.
