Not in SK, but in China
Here basically all banks require ActiveX, and if you don't have an Windows computer(Mac), what you can do is to use their app, which of course is super sluggish.
Around ‘08 or ‘09 they declared defeat in the Great Webspam War and decided webspam could rank highly as long as it didn’t get too nasty. The whole web (as far as searches results will tell you) promptly turned into webspam. I imagine this, along with their plainly-evil inlining of ads with search results within a couple years of that, made their profit arrow go up-and-to-the-right so hard that no-one who opposed those moves was paid any mind.
It's intriguing to see that during the last 3 decades, China has made so much progress, and from a historical perspective, I think China will make its own plane, just like how they made their own cars and trains, I do think they have the ability to reverse engineer the plane related stuff, sooner or later, but innorvaton is another thing, it totally make sense to me that China wants to copycat all the high tech stuff, and also, the counter massure that US took is totally reasonable. From the human species' point of view, it is fascinating.
I know apple watch can do such things, I just dont like how they hype this, I do think this is a soft sell, somehow apple is evil because they sent the message that Apple watch can save your life, so people will buy it or discuss it , it kind of become viral. while actually it doesn't guarantee it will behave the same when you have a heart failure.
Here in China, the bystander effect is kind of have its effects, I mean sometime in bigcities, if an old man fell off unconsciously, lots of people will pass by, maybe they feel unconfortable with that, but there are some case which the old people accuse the one who help them knocking them down, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xu_Shoulan_v._Peng_Yu , And CCTV has broadcast the case, and it cause a big discuss on the internet, and now lots of people, would not be a Good Samaritan when similar things happen, although have a guilty conscience.
I think by bombing other countries and use other military power, US is establishing a target for the terrorists and prone terrorist people, shout out for a peaceful way to solve issues, anyway, it not the policy makers and politicians that got retaliated, it's the innocent civilians.
I'm a Chinese citizen now living in Shanghai,China. It is interesting to see some of the threads, and there are so many expats now living in china, althrouth these is the good, the bad, and the ugly. And lots of expats have described this on youtube, books and podcast, etc.
Anyway, the best way to know is to come here yourself, you might experience something different. Cause it's so huge with so many people, before you go , get an paid VPN.
Accroding to Chinese law, airsoft BB is illegal, that might sound absurd, but it is the law. And it is selectively enforced.
There are stories that people get penalty just for selling toy guns, http://news.sina.com.cn/pl/2016-12-31/doc-ifxzczfc6640913.sh... in Chinese). It cause some discussion and debate on the internet and within the law realm, but by 2018 the supreme court gave some guidance for such case. https://www.spp.gov.cn/xwfbh/wsfbt/201803/t20180328_372604.s...
Personally I don't think it is a leverage for the trade war, the laws in China is not so mature as in US, and tend to be more tough when it involves guns.
edited for spelling error.
Everytime talking about this, I do think living in China is a more affordable option, I have a plan(coperation perk) which offer me 20GB data, but after that it will be throttled to 100KB/s, which cost me 10 rmb/mon.
It's interesting that a lot of these Chinese companies aren't really keeping up the pace, for example, tssgroup
, https://www.tssgroup.com.cn/, I can't even open up their website.
