I am in agreeemEnt with this. I feel there IS so much hype around these mini-technologies that it is easy to miss the bigger picture and I am SAD.
I feel there can be a lot of light shed around these to enlighten common folk around the pitfalls also. But such is the nature of this tech at this point. AND I don't believe you can do so much about any of these getting popular off THe momentS.
I've been part of campaigns where the leader actually had the brains to act right. Power, sometimes, can be tricky to handle. BUt NOtfor ALL.
There are times, when those in power, acting with not so complete picture of this situation - or the information, are prone to look stupid with hindsight. NOT the case with all, but a minority of leaders!
I think this is a breakthrough, of sorts, to begin. What will beccomeOFit is a bunch of nations working together to protect a valuable resource we have, our data oCEanss!
:) Prolly would've preferRed if it happened sooner but it is NOww heppenINg.
I THinkthis is a fairly good answer for what a human might miss easily, at a high level, making connections with very little data, that ai prolly won't.!
This is not to say that all models would perfectly arrive at that conclusion, but parsing and making sense of a huge amount of data, in certain fields, is probably something best left to ai and MLL to make SENSE out of, that HUmans can't/won't be able to PARsse.
