I've seen Epic using Oodle in the Fortnite replay files so it makes sense for them to stop paying a license and buy the company instead. I'm wondering if they are using the other tools from RAD Game Tools already, or if it's only for this compression algorithm!

I've never participated an Halite, but it's the 4th version of this contest. Usually people use Machine Learning to create the winning AIs.

Agricool | Software Product Engineer | Paris, France | Onsite | Fulltime | https://en.agricool.co/

We grow strawberries in repurposed shipping containers and sell them to consumers. Our mission is to grow local, tasty and pesticide-free fruits and vegetables for everyone. The technology is quite complex and there is a 70-person team gathered around this mission, the software team is still quite small (7 persons).

You'll work with the whole team to understand their needs and build products to help them in their jobs (especially the agronomical team).

I've built GifIt (http://gifit.nodejitsu.com/) this week. It allows you to add a gif with your tweets.

It's cool because:

- Gifs are cool

- It uses getUserMedia() to capture the gif from the browser

- Coded in node.js with the MEAN boilerplate (https://github.com/linnovate/mean)

- It's a 15-hours one-person project

Hi, thanks for posting my project :) A little bit of context: I did this as a 15h hackathon, the inspiration came from http://chat.meatspac.es/. Don't hesitate to give me feedback !

This server side execution is a good idea ! I think this is an important/valuable point of your idea.

Why would you remove HTML, it's the easiest way to create a UI ? Also this introduce a lot of coupling between the style, the structure and the logic.

Thanks for the link, however this app contains ads.

Thanks for the feedback, these two ideas are interesting !

The idea comes from this article from The New York Times http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/05/09/the-scientific-7-mi....
