I was curious so read the Kmart wikipedia article over morning coffee. Seems like these (no longer) share any ownership with the original. Which I guess raises a philosophical question about names and existence that will require at least a second cup of coffee :-)
Hmm? Semantically they are equivalent ("this is the same statement"), bytewise they are not identical ("not completely the same"). Both parent comments are true statements. Things can be in the same equivalence class without being identical. What am I missing?
I found the Copilot-generated commit message suggestions distracting when editing files from the web, so I made a uBlock Origin filter to block this feature:
I hear that they don’t embed tracking metadata in those builds on the FTP, but I haven’t confirmed that.
The normal download page embeds a unique tracking alphanumeric string in your build that is reported to the organization on a regular basis when the telemetry phones home unless you disable this manually and clear the values.
Can it really offer those views? Last time I tried it, it seemed very, err, bare/unpolished. Kinda felt like Arch Linux, I don't doubt it can't do it, but I don't know if I can do it without reading some documentation (no disrespect intended to Arch or Sumatra!)
Ads and many online features can be removed before installation of Adobe Reader by customizing the installer using the Adobe Reader Customization Wizard for Windows [1], where there is an optional labeled "Disable Upsell" [2]. There might also be a version for macOS [3]. It might also just be possible to just directly set the appropriate "FeatureLockDown" options in the registry/preferences in your system [4].
