because distros are trying to build things that work over and over again, instead of improving what exists.

We had our CI systems fail today because of this. They were running Ubuntu 16.04. Check the below thread, they say an openssl bug is also a contributing factor. Removing the expired root CA fixed the issue for me. (edit: removed from the clients)

Largest by the number of packages right? Including the likes of leftpad, the eleven byte library.

I too could not get my wife to watch Star Trek Next Generation with me.

I didn't get why this is news? We're building a react-native app with vscode on windows for a month now. (the team likes the combination very much, btw)

Hey @taypo - how is that experience going ? Would love to hear how this is working out.

You are right - this was announced at ReactConf 2016

How is this a fair comparison:

Vanilla JS var s = document.getElementById('thing').style; s.opacity = 1; (function fade(){(s.opacity-=.1)<0?s.display="none":setTimeout(fade,40)})();

jQuery <script src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script> <script> $('#thing').fadeOut(); </script>

Looks like a good upgrade to an xmbc on raspberry pi. This might be a stupid question but does anyone know if HDMI-CEC would work on it? I want to be able to use my tv remote just like on rpi.

The elephant in the room is always how well the Linux driver for the GPU works (if it exists).

More on the management side of development, but I like rands a lot http://www.randsinrepose.com/
