https://statcounter.com/ have been around forever and offer a good alternative as well.

Working on https://www.tricoda.com/ - Multi-cloud management tool that organizes all your providers servers into a single pane of glass.

Idea came about from having my own servers across so many providers and wanting to make it easier to manage.

You spelt "google" wrong on your sign up form https://www.hellobox.co/a/hello/home#/register

Wow, compared to the rest of the sleek site, that is so incredibly obvious.

That makes me think it was an intentional typo.

oh boole

No. They're both using the same Wordpress theme (http://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-html5-template/...).

Same theme, but plain HTML the and not a wordpress theme on both pages.

maybe because digital ocean has and will always be a VPS company, they are not cloud.

What do you think makes the separation between a "cloud" provider and a VPS company?

The glib answer is that a cloud provider understands the need for a private network.

But, in that is a deeper truth: a VPS is a cheaper machine. It becomes "cloud" when you use many machines together. If you're using many machines, you really want intercommunication between those machines to be easy, fast and - yes - reasonably secure.

They claim to be a "cloud hosting" platform, though, which is the confusing bit.

the one in Dublin, Ireland, was converted to apartments http://armchairtravelogue.blogspot.co.uk/2009/06/dublin-gasw...

There's also the Gasometers of Vienna which are gorgeous: http://www.wiener-gasometer.at/en

Each gasometer was redesigned into a complete urban space by a different architect.

I lived there for a few months. The structures are extremely sturdy, with some fantastic views from the upper levels. The base of the Gasometers have been cleverly fashioned into a shopping complex, with adjacent cinema and gym. No need to ever venture outside! (Even the underground train station can be reached under cover.)

My apartment overlooked one of the hollow central 'cylinders': not much sunlight reached the interior, and - without net curtains - not much privacy (since neighbors opposite had a clear view across the space).

After seeing a huge crowd queuing in the lobby one evening, I realized the basement was used for rock concerts! And yet, not a sound (or vibration) reached the residential areas above.

Great place to stay for a while...

Yep top tip, always say it's because I'm moving country, only way not to get passed to the customer retention department and it's usually processed immediately with no hassle.

To be fair to them, they state they have never received funding and the site is profitable since the end of April. But it's very niche alright.

http://www.tiny.ie/ - URL shortener with click through statistics i put together for my own use at the time, have done nothing with it since.

Very similar layout and functionality to http://invoiceable.co/

The site I keep using is http://invoiceto.me/ which is nice and minimal.

Invoiceable is nice too. Pity it doesn't get regular updates.
