You've probably got yourself a pretty sweet "niche" business there. I can imagine they'd sell at a pretty reasonable pace from http://thinkgeek.com or something.
Togethera (http://togethera.com) - Back-end developer, London (Remote OK), Full-time
We’re building the easiest way for families and small groups to stay connected through private sharing of thoughts, photos and videos - on their smartphone, tablet or computer. We're a small team (http://togethera.com/about) and we're funded by a group of international investors, most of them entrepreneurs themselves.
Our product is driven by a RESTful API built in Python and Django, that serves our web (AngularJS) and mobile clients (iOS and Android). We launched our native iOS app two weeks ago and were featured by Apple on day one. We're hoping to achieve the same with our Android app very soon and replicate the increase in traction we saw for iOS.
The existing architecture has served us very well and will continue to do so for the next few months. However, we feel that now is the time to build a new system that will:
- make the most of the lessons from the last 12 months and optimise performance of existing clients
- help us deliver our roadmap
- handle scaling as we're starting to grow fast
To do this we're looking for an experienced software engineer that understands databases, has worked with systems that had to scale fast and is comfortable with our stack and managing servers (we use Ansible). The ideal person has worked as a back-end/full-stack developer for a fast growing mobile startup.

We're building the simplest way for all generations in a family to share photos, videos and updates in absolute privacy. We have an early stage product that's getting amazing reviews; we're funded by excellent investors and are on a mission to bring the world's families closer together with technology that's delightful and easy to use. We're putting all the lessons we learned from our early into a new version of the product. It will be awesome!
We're now looking for a Full-Stack Developer (Python/Django and JS - we use Angular) to work on the core of our app that's available across iOS, Android and the Web. To apply please contact us at jobs@togethera.com. The role is in London, but we can start working together remotely.
Perks include flexible working hours, equity, conference/learning budget and a (very) relaxed holiday policy. More importantly, you'll be joining us almost from the start and have real influence on how the product, culture and company grow.

We have an early stage product that's getting amazing reviews; we're funded by excellent investors and are on a mission to bring the world's families closer together with technology that's delightful and easy to use.
We're now hiring for two roles: Android Developer and Full-Stack Developer (AngularJS & Python with Django). To apply please contact us at jobs@togethera.com. The roles are in London, but we can start working together remotely.
We currently have a Phonegap app that's getting fantastic reviews on Google Play. If you join us for the Android role, you'll get to build a native version from scratch, using all the lessons we've picked up in the last couple of months!

We’re building the easiest way for families to stay connected through private sharing of thoughts, photos and videos. We're just getting started, but already have users who tell us that Togethera: "is enriching our lives" and "bringing our family closer together even though we're scattered across the world", “I’d be very disappointed if Togethera wasn’t there tomorrow”. Some of those users are 90-year old grandparents and some young children - both using connected devices to share with those closest to them for the first time.
We have big plans and are backed by impressive angel investors in London and the U.S. - most are successful entrepreneurs themselves.
Our product is driven by a RESTful API built in Python and Django. The web front-end runs on AngularJS and we’re currently working on our mobile apps running on Phonegap for Android and full native for iOS.
We’re hiring for two roles: 1) a versatile developer who’s comfortable with our stack and an expert in front-end development, and 2) an Android engineer who is obsessed with building the absolute best user experience that Android can provide.
PERKS & CULTURE
We've worked with excellent contractors for our MVP, and we're now looking for people who are ready to commit to a startup and (if possible) join us in London. You'll have real influence on the product, strategy, team and culture with the freedom and responsibility to turn plans and ideas into reality.
We believe that you need to work when and how you’re most productive to deliver results, so we have flexible work hours and don’t count your days off (insist you take at least 22 of them per year).
You'll help define our company culture and decide what perks would interest you - conference/travel budget, ideal workstation setup, free lunch...?
We want our team to share in the success of the company, so you can choose a combination of cash and equity to suit your financial situation.
If you're not in London, but are happy to move here from somewhere else in the UK/Europe, then we'll help you with expenses, finding accommodation and settling in.
To apply please send us an email at jobs@togethera.com with a bit about yourself and products you’ve built.
