I get the impression that you purposely misunderstood. Parent suggested to evaluate if you can let go of the anti-privacy service. E.g. stop using YouTube not the way you worded it.
My point is that it’s not about the inability to “simply” let things go in general, as the wording suggests throughout the comment. That’s too simplistic. It matters which things we are talking about, or in other words, which things people care more about.
I’m not advocating letting go of privacy, just addressing the reality of how people make choices.
For a trip of 30000km, would a bus not need any service? My car today wants a service every 10k or year.
I guess if it's only oil change the bus drivers back then where also service men and mechanics.
That's nice of them! Too bad they don't offer repair for other speaker systems that are out of warranty, nor do they sell components for other repair shops to fix speakers that are out of warranty.
I don't know your financial situation but a N95 mask can't cost you more than 10$? I can find 10 packs for less than 10$.
You can even reuse your shopping mask since you primary point is privacy and not air borne pathogens.
I'm sure you can imagine some dark patterns.
Screens that show you products they want you to buy based on your patterns. Discounted offers tailored to you that are not really discounts.
