What? The Apple II was a fantastically open machine! It even came with the circuit schematic and ROM source code right in the manual! It had lots of slots and there was a massive third-party ecosystem. It was when Jobs got to design machines with the Apple III/Lisa/Mac that things closed up.
Coincidentally, I just moved to Austin and am rebuilding my hot sauce collection. Does anyone else have an absurd, hoarder stash of spicy substances in glass bottles? Any tips on sourcing quality hot sauces locally?
PS: at a long gone sushi place in Capitola, I took the "satan roll" challenge and asked for seconds. Although I got an employee monogrammed/embroidered polo shirt and scared most of the Japanese waitresses, I wouldn't consider either an accomplishment.
Rx only. I've taken it for weight gain from mirtazapine along with statins for familial hypercholesterolemia. IF is better but it leads to reduced energy levels, increased aggression, reduced concentration, and is inconvenient.
Sure, the rich might be getting richer, and the poor might be getting poorer, though for all intents and purposes this change seems to affect the middle class, or what is left of it.
What I don't understand is how that ties in with socialism. In modern times, in developed countries, socialism generally pulls the poor up and the rich down (e.g. scandinavia, northern europe, canada-sort-of). How did you reach the conclusion that a relatively right-wing government is socialist?
Okay, fair enough, I guess what I'm getting at is that I find it hard to call that socialism of any kind: it's just corrupt government via bribery (probably).
You misspelled a hateful, discriminatory word. Maybe you could do the world a favor by sticking to facts and policies, not people's appearance and attributes?
A few corporations have replaced public commons, leading to inverted totalitarian rule by fiat with an illusion of alternatives.
Furthermore, the "liberals" nowadays differ markedly from the liberals years ago who wanted to and encourage debate. Instead, the circular firing squad keeps looking for the next victim to shout-down, take offline, and ignore completely because that's their strength: demolition.
