Is that why they invent new and totally unnecessary driver bits? And make it so that you can't even replace a component from one iphone with a 100% apple made component from another identical iphone?
It's obvious that apple has spent a lot of money on intentionally making their devices harder to repair.
Most likely it was other way around - they wanted a machine which can reliably drive tiny screws. They invented the machine, but it required pentalobe screws, so they went with that.
I remember that I had some major problems with divinity on arch. Like I had to move around some files after every update, otherwise it wouldn't launch.
If I'm not mistaken, that was research in mice. Mice are nocturnal and do not likely have the same entrainment patterns with respect to blue (sky) light.
There are still valuable things that can be learned from that kind of research, but the popular coverage really missed the mark by directly extrapolating from research in mice to human circadian rhythms.
According to research I've found, red light will raise cortisol but not suppress melatonin production. Blue light does both. Don't remember which paper, but I found this one suggesting that blue light is worse than regular white light (which includes the blue spectrum) at suppressing melatonin: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1034/j.1600-079X....
In my experience FF is not behind chrome with new features. It's usually on par, or even better. Sure safari is annoying. But the developer tools in firefox are alright. I even find them better when it comes to debugging css stuff.
Install Jitsi on your own vps (prefably hosted in your city) and your set.
A vps wiht 2 cores and 2 gb works really well at our company and costs close to nothing. Took maybe 4 hours to set up their docker-compose setup, it even does letsencrypt automatically.
