Tigers usually have 2-3 cubs in a litter. So i guess it is a good number

"Empowering people" is Satya's favorite word. Looks like every Microsoft executive is using this now lol.

It's actually the company motto

yes, you need to show it as prize when you file your TAX returns.

Your use of the word "unleashed" shows your deep hatred for him. Will you say the governor of Missouri unleashed the shooting incident and subsequent riots? Should we sentence him for life?.it was exactly the same situation back then. I agree that modi did not do a good job in controlling the mob as the head of the state but those riots were an immediate reaction to the actions of one religious group that put arsenal in a railway coach and burnt 200 people alive. 3 separate investigative committees headed by supreme court of India couldn't find any evidence that modi instigated these riots.

59 people were killed, not 200.

Isn't Modi hailed an as administrative genius, are you saying the riots were justified?

59 makes it alright?

Did I ever say it makes it alright? All I asked for was given how Modi is hailed for his "Administrative skills" should he have swung into action contained the riots and brought the criminals to justice.

Isn't that what we expect from our elected officials than a horrific free-for-all?

Please stop, all of you.

The classic bait.

> Give a wrong number.

> Someone corrects.

> So that makes it alright?

This is the only post you've ever commented on. You're either very passionate about this subject or you're just looking to troll. Either way, I am off this thread because like @sremani said, you're doing disservice to the article and this comment thread. This is not the HN I like.

"Will you say the governor of Missouri unleashed the shooting incident"

Actually, considering his ties to the police, I would.

The riots went on for 3 days with the government actively participating in arsoning, looting and murdering. It is not even close to the current situation in Missouri.

You choose to believe the Supreme court headed "investigation" committees as though they are the gospel of truth. If you're from India, do I need to remind you how the judicial system in India works? Most of the evidences have been destroyed the police and the judiciary in fact has been further victimizing the riot victims. There is video evidence of Modi instigating a mob to cut people up which has been ignored by the judiciary.

Moreover, the riots were not an immediate reaction but they were being planned since years. Thousands of weapons don't land up in the hands of rioting mobs overnight.

That is RT , the mouthpiece of russia

I live in Ohio, Never knew that the biggest vacuum chamber is here until now.

Yup yup, it is NASA Plumbrook, the old reactor south of Sandusky. On the way to Cedar Point as a kid I was always in awe of the place as it was so big and you could only get within a few miles of it. My sixth grade teacher claimed a three eyed frog he had in a jar came from a nearby pond.

"How you doing" ,"Hello Beautiful" these are not harassment.

You are wrong. http://thedailyshow.cc.com/videos/v7vq7r/masters-of-sexism--...

In the words of Jessica Williams. "Our walk to work is not there for [you] to comment on. It's not a red carpet. It's not a fashion week runway. It's a sidewalk. And believe it or not, getting the horny clap of approval from any guy does not improve my day, it actually creeps me out. So guys get some impulse control because I've got some shit to do"

Um, yes, it is harassment. Don't do this.

Those are harassment, unless you're saying them to a lot of people. If you're only saying it to women you think are hot, in an anonymous street context (not a singles bar), stop it.

While you might be "technically" correct... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90qpDg5y7Lo

So out of a video containing 90% harassment, you hone in on the one or two that are lesser in degree. Do you not agree that the woman in this video was harassed repeatedly?

I was in the same situation 4 years back. Being an immigrant it takes some effort on our side to assimilate in the society and for introverts like me (us) it takes a lot more. First thing I noticed is that I had a very low self-confidence. I've been an introvert all my life with only few friends. Firstly, what changed my life is getting a fitness club membership. It wasn't easy in the beginning seeing all those big guys. So I used to exercise late nights after 11p.m only because i was too self-conscious. My first friend in the city was a cop, he used to exercise off hours. He taught me lifting weights and that changed everything. He was like a coach. He wasn't like a friend i can hang out but that was fine. I felt better and better about myself as I got stronger. Secondly, I was a regular at start-up weekends and other business events .I made friends with couple of developers and business people. I was looking to make friends with them but they were only "networking". Later, one of them asked me if I wanted to be his roommate so we can work on cool ideas together. Slowly, I became friends with his friends. Also, I used to hang out at a 24/7 coffee shop and met other developers and designers. Thirdly, I volunteered at a local animal shelter. I made friends while we walk the dogs and clean the cats :-) .I met my ex-gf there. Also I read lots of books on the art of small talk and how to master conversation skills. Recorded my voice and practiced my accent until it got better. Hey Read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Culture_shock. Good luck!!

Link goes to a photo of a subway poster of Mahatma Ghandi and the quote, "There is more to life than increasing its speed."

I can't find that link. Can you tell me where you found that link so I can fix it?

Oh, I was just explaining rajdevar's link, which was posted without any context. Sorry about the confusion.

Lots of People don't know that applying for H1B Visa is not getting the work permit/Visa to enter the country. Tech Companies like Microsoft file the Petitions even if they don't really utilize/invite people in the current year. This is just to keep a pool of extra workers on stand-by. Out of the 65k ,how many will get approved by the USCIS and how many really qualify in the Visa interview ?. How many enter the US in the current year? Remember your visa is valid for 6 years so they can utilize it in the future.

Slight correction - The visa is not valid for 6 years. The H1B visa that is granted to you at a US consulate abroad is usually valid for up to three years. (sometimes two) i.e. you have till that expiry date to enter the US.

Once in the US, you can extend your H1B status for up to 6 years (and more if you have a pending 'green card' process)
