please add a button to start a GPT voice mode conversation or start dictating / recording an audio note -- too things I'd love to be able to do more on-the-go without having to dive into my phone!

We're also working on some new patterns (e.g. embedded banners and "cards") as we enable teams to offer more native ways to engage users, without interrupting or disrupting their product UX. Our ultimate goal is more personalized web-applications and more control for PMs and PMMs to run in-app campaigns without needing engineers to work on low-lift and low-complexity items!

We wanted to roll out SSO for our web app and used WorkOS.. we looked at Okta, Auth0 and others, but found the out-of-the-box nature of WorkOS really compelling. Aligned with flexibility and support for a wide-range of services, it made our life pretty easy. Recommend

Wrote this to help product teams learn from how Google changed the UI for seeking notifications. There are already good articles on how to do this for mobile apps, but similar best practices need to be applied on the web for pop-ups / modals / product tours etc. which are typically invasive and not helpful.. which gives them a reputation for being annoying.. but it doesn't have to be that way!

tooltips can really be hated, but sometimes they're done really well... can be low hanging fruit for teams trying to reduce support tickets / confusion, as long as they are embraced and some basic design principles followed

There is a pretty decent quora thread about this: https://www.quora.com/What-tools-can-I-use-to-create-a-guide...

Chameleon | Pacific Time REMOTE (Seattle / Portland / SF / Vancouver / LA / San Diego etc.)

We're looking for a full-stack engineer, our 3rd hire. Prior remote and startup experience required. To be a good fit you'll be chomping to learn quickly and get shit done!

Hate terrible user onboarding? Chameleon (https://www.trychameleon.com) allows you to build data-driven product tours without writing code. We're VC-backed, with revenue and strong growth since our launch 6 months ago.

If you're interested then please email me pulkit at trychameleon [dot] com with some info about yourself.

I recently joined the team at Chameleon. Here's why I wanted to be a part of their story:

1. I used to be a customer and loved the product!

2. As an earlier adopter of Chameleon, I saw the problem the technology is solving and we were delighted with the impact it had on not only immediately having high quality, customized, observable product tours and onboarding experiences but allowing developers to stay focused on shipping product!

3. Pulkit, Brian, and the rest of the team are razor sharp and focused on making a difference for their customers.

I believe there is a bright future at Chameleon and this is an exciting time to get involved.

Interview process would be:

Chameleon | PST REMOTE (Seattle / Portland / SF / Vancouver / LA etc.)

We're looking for 2 full-stack engineers. Prior remote and startup experience required.

Hate terrible user onboarding? Chameleon (https://www.trychameleon.com) allows you to build data-driven product tours without writing code.

We're VC-backed, with revenue and strong growth since our launch 5 months ago. You'll be joining as our first full-stack engineer and could become Head of Engineering here.

Let's have a 10 min chat to start. Please email me pulkit@trychameleon.com with some info about yourself.

We've all built and [not] maintained product tours, now its time to pass the torch to our business compatriots. Chameleon enables them to show off the product without developers as the linchpin for the whims of late-night copy changes.

We've built a product that runs wholly inside another companies interface allowing them to create and edit right where it matters (engineering wise there are many challenges this presents).

Our engineering motto: If product can think it up, we can built it -- all product needs to do is figure out what is most important ;)

Interview process would be:

* Quick chat with me (co-founder & CEO) to align goals and expectations

* Discussion with our co-founder & CTO to outline our stack and challenges

* Small task and code review to check we match on expectations

* A paid joint project to see if we enjoy working together

FWIW I have worked with Chameleon in the past. Really great firm!

Why are you limiting your remotes to a specific time zone?

I think SMS is an awesome way to engage people. You could use a tool like http://www.sendsonar.com to manage that messages to your users
