Some people on here are such NPCs, you can give them all calculations, numbers and diagrams as to how this is not an impossible concept, and all they will say is "Thermal radiation is not efficient".

You can prove that the lower efficiency can be managed, and they will still say the only thing they know: "Thermal radiation is not efficient".

don't give up on them ;)

as an example my points almost instantly fell down 15 points, but over the last 11 hours it has recuperated back to just a 1 point drop.

it's not because they don't like to write an apology (which I don't ask for) that they aren't secretly happy they learnt something new in physics, and in the end thats what matters to me :)

Cooling is being presented as an advantage of putting these things in space. Of course the lower efficiency can be managed. But it’s not an advantage. If cooling is harder (which it is) the what’s the point of this whole thing?

Huh, I didn't know that that was possible without burning fuel. Kind of wild that it only works because the Earth has an equatorial bulge and isn't an exact sphere.

I didn't think of that! I should have had a V8. Thanks for the info.

As long as Jensen can polish up some sand and sell it for 5 morbillion dollars, nature and economic growth is not finite.

The fact that twitter revealed the (supposed to be secret) order is the exact reason why they got banned.

Imagine if Clarence Thomas orders Facebook that they have to censor any negative posts about him, and they cannot reveal the reason the reason for censoring, with the threat of getting shut down.

That is just some hallucinations by the twitter AI. It probably has no basis for that claim.

According to Elons tweet, they had 11 internal cameras streaming. Add to that the 2 external cameras and all the telemetry, that's some damn good bandwidth.

Its the same package that had targets said to be 'laughably impossible'(1) when it was first announced.

Now that all the targets are achieved in a fraction of the time, its redefined as 'unfathomable'.

(If Mr. Musk were somehow to increase the value of Tesla to $650 billion — a figure many experts would contend is laughably impossible ...)

At the same time Tesla / Musk is at trial over manipulation of the stock price: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2023/jan/28/tesla-tri...

(as a side note I think exactly this is the reason Musk bought twitter; to have more control and protection from stock price manipulation through the platform)

According to Scott Manleys video, it seems like an oxygen leak. You can see below that from that point onwards, oxygen depletion rate increased.

Maybe this lack of oxygen led to the engines flaming out early, triggering the AFTS.

If watching a reel in a 3" box on a 27" monitor is fully featured, then ya sure.

Wow that guy is obsessed with twitter.

Almost as though he's been studying it. Funny, that.
