I can't believe such a comment is posted now in 2025. Everyone had moved on from that kind of thing at least a decade ago. Or are there some parts of the Internet where this would be new?

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. That stalking is a thing of the past? Or maybe that everyone expects to be stalked in 2025? Could you be trying to say that with a convicted rapist president, that stalking is encouraged in some countries? Your comment is vague at best.

Something is seriously broken with this world now that completely normal and well educated person like GP is not realizing his words aren't making sense. Apple Park to LLNL is under an hour's drive. You guys can probably achieve nuclear independence in a day if needed.

It just can't be done economically, because yields of a nuke(pun intended) don't immediately map onto economical values. Not just immensely positive or negative, but actually tangential to the currency dimensions.

Even teleops are janky as hell, robots needs bodies

CJK languages need language-specific AI conversion engines for any kind of typing. Which OSS versions exist for Japanese, I don't know for Chineses(CN/HK/TW - IIUC they're slightly divergent beyond fonts).

The entire US and North America is massively more empty relative to almost anywhere else, even most perceptually sparse countries. Many of European countries are 5-10x denser than US.

Because the cyberspace was lawless for far too long. Justice systems worldwide were too ill-equipped to handle anything involving computers logically, effectively nullifying broad ranges of laws.

Lots of people report those kinds of massive deboosting and visibility penalties, and constantly devising avoidance strategies. There are no trivially inferred rationale as with lots of things going on in the world, unless destruction of value were the goal.

They've massively raised various penalization thresholds too, so that organically valued content cannot gain popularity. Unless you've blocked everything he sees, you're still affected.

Yeah, artificial delays in content delivery is silently spreading. It's not just Twitter.

Edit: is this why 4chan was hit with the disruption - because there's no room for this delay mechanism?

No, 4chan was hacked because hideyuki has terrible security hygiene and didn't update shit. Same thing happened to 2channel a decade prior.
