I bought my Aeron used in 2003. It's only now starting to wear out, and that's only in the places on the seat where I sit with me feet in the chair. My shoes have worn some of the cross webbing.

Just can't go wrong with the Aeron.

me> Did you see that ludicrous display last night? zo: What was Wenger thinking sending Walcott on that early

I always thought they earned a nickel for every time they closed a question as "not constructive"

There are software jobs outside of Seattle.

I'm in USA. Not a whole lot up until the very end. I tend to ignore it pretty well until it all gets close then obsession with it kicks in. I pretty much know election day is a productivity write off for me so I just don't worry about it, its only a day every 4 years.

In case anyone wants to do this now I found this after a quick search

A method that is more complete was described on HN a while back: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11791052.

For OS X implementation, see the comment https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11795351 and the linked implementation.

For GNU/Linux, no one seemed to have posted something and I could not easily find it. Hence I wrote my own that has been tested successfully on my own machine: https://github.com/gajjanag/config_files/blob/master/block_f....

Hopefully this sets a precedent that eventually shuts down the revenge porn sites.

Haven't we already had court cases against people running those sites? The wiki page for the topic already lists three or four US cases where the people running said sites have been prosecuted or sent to prison.

We didn't need this court case to get a precedent for that.

When you first sit in an Aeron you think, what's all the fuss about?

But sit in one for awhile and you realize one day that the chair isn't bothering you like every other chair does after a few hours.

And they last forever. I have 2 and the oldest I bought used in 2002.

Grab a good deal on a used one.

I thought there would be at least one watercolor, or one warning. I was wrong.

There were several watercolours, including the images above these captions:

- "Francis Towne’s 1780 watercolour of a ruined tomb on the road from Rome signified the transience of human achievement (Credit: The Trustees of the British Museum)"

- "Towne’s 1780 watercolour Inside the Colosseum is a study of the Roman Empire’s decay (Credit: The Trustees of the British Museum)"

- "Towne’s 1781 watercolour of Tivoli’s Villa of Maecenas is dominated by a wild, natural landscape (Credit: The Trustees of the British Museum)"

Weird they don't show for me. I even went back and looked again. Still no watercolors. Using Safari and feeling stupid now.

Jeez man I think we all get it. You have a product you want to sell. Spamming is not the way to promote your email product.

We had more than a few really worried people reach out (before this thread), this change is very worrying to some. I'll dial it back though, thanks!
