If the Ukrainian revolutionary government didn't get to work on the Sunday morning of 23rd Feb 2014 just to vote to abolish the law on language policies that had given the Russian, Romanian, and Hungarian languages the official status of regional languages in Eastern Ukraine, this might all have been avoided indeed. Crimea had only got annexed after 4 days of this stupid move against their own citizens of the "untrustworthy regions".

I am in my 34th year and I listen to more new music now than I ever have. Most live music shows I go to now are for newer bands that I’ve only just started listening to. YouTube and DeeZer give me excellent suggestions for music.

I just want a phone that gets regular updates and security updates for 5+ years. Why give me hardware that can be repaired when the software is not supported after a few years?

I tried doing a resume in LaTeX but failed. It’s now in YAML, with layout in HAML and styling in CSS.

I am not a developer so I am aware it won’t live up to any kind of standards you might have.

Wake up (time varies). Have breakfast, coffee, work until done. Of course I have lunch in between (at home). Sometimes I run errands during the day.

If I’m feeling up to it I’ll play golf before or after work. Sometimes I will do a workout (home gym).

Overall I love the flexibility and ability to get more done professionally and personally in the same or less time.

I was a PayPal customer for 16 years. They then threatened to disable my account unless I completed forms to send to Equifax. I told them to get stuffed and see you later. I really miss PayPal but I didn’t appreciate what they did.

I finally was able to get fibre in my area, so I dropped Starlink. Data caps are incoming, and the cells near me are over-subscribed. Speeds have been getting worse over time.
