I was forwarding something to my wife and I see this other person suggested in the recipient list. The weird way the suggestion UI is designed makes it look like they are already added, but I assumed I would have to select the person in the second forward box to add them. Anyway, I won't migrate for now though because I hardly use email anymore.

Same issue here. I want to migrate away, but rarely use email and I have it setup everywhere which would take quite some effort to pull off.

So where can you buy one of these mythical notebooks for 350€$!?!?

Every time I try to search, it's either unavailable or 100s€$ over the original price?

Watch out guys, Chinese manufacturer CHUWI was found to be involved in a mislabeling scandal that involved its CoreBook X and CoreBook Plus laptops. The company advertised these laptops as having the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U CPU, but in reality, they used the older Ryzen 5 5500U CPU.

Did WhatsApp spawn from Facebook Messenger? Perhaps this is what all those devs created.

Sadly they were allowed to acquire WhatsApp even though they already had their Messenger. Meta did it to devour their competition. Even today, lots of people still don't know that whatsapp is owned by Meta.

whatsapp was acquired

My company is currently using PHP templates, but is thinking of replacing them with react components because the new front-end devs like them. Is this a bad idea?

I've just bought my first 3D printer and I decided against Bamboo because of the drama that has happened lately, and I'm glad I did.

I don't own an EV yet, but if I ever do, I don't want a single screen. I don't even want electric windows.

It's not for sale yet

Electric seats and windows are always the first thing to go in an old car. And they're so unnecessary.

I thought I remembered using this in the 90s when it was Ask Jeeves.

Nice, I guess nobody is going to bother my Ask Alko side project now.

This is going to make it more difficult for non-open source projects to get a foothold in the future because people are not going to trust a promise any more. Like, I have this thing called a smart phone. Is it open source? No? Oh well.

That would be good, but somehow didn't work all the other times.
