Really sad to see traditional LCDs tending toward obsolescence. The newer OLED and especially mini-LED technologies often give me migraine symptoms.


What could be causing your headache? OLED (and mini-LED is very similar) are just better on almost all account (looking at you gradiant banding). Color, perfect black, brightness, high refresh rate.

Had migraines when CCFL backlights were replaced by cheap LEDs with PWM flickering in 50/60Hz visible frequencies. Pretty much same shit happened to early LED bulbs. Just wait for the better evolution.
