The key for me has been finding stuff I like to do that _happens_ to be exercise as well.

Hot Yoga, Trail Running, Hiking, Skiing, Biking, etc. I climbed a LOT in my 20's. I usually can sneak in something every day.

I've also mixed in weight lifting a few times a week just because it anecdotally seems to help a lot with injuries (nothing crazy, full body sets medium weights, usually 4x8's).

In terms of how it helps, my wife says I'm more enjoyable to be around when I'm active :), I also assume it's helped me to maintain a reasonable weight.

I've found all of your code and lessons on youtube so incredibly useful. You're a wonderful teacher and I really appreciate all the work you've done with this!

This is great advice. It is cast in the first sentence as narrow advice, and in some ways it is. In the last paragraph though, it is illustrated that the advice generalizes incredibly well, and that's the part that sticks with me. Recognize the power your words carry, be empathetic to how those affect people.

I've currently been working on https://www.interviewbreeze.com in my spare time as a resource for learning coding interview questions. I have hacked away on it here and there for the last year or so.

This has been my experience with any "senior" engineering / BI / DS role. There is a particularly high level of price sensitivity to anything above 200k.

I genuinely laughed out loud when Allison announced the general council, who has a religious objection to email, would be working from home in Iceland.

I immediately sent that scene to my lawyer friend, with a link the script and a bad pun.
