This is really cool. I have absolutely no use for it.

My gf just got a Chrome OS notebook from Google - that is probably the best use case for it.

That was my initial reaction to this too. But without a compiler/interpreter on hand, this app won't be too useful for any serious coding. You just can't test what you're writing.

On the other hand, this is fantastic for non-code text files.

Maybe something like this could work?

Wasn't there a link to a "Cloud Compiler" yesterday?

Yet.

I'd mention that fact on the landing page. It seems more important than the domain name stuff (which I'd remove, personally).

It may be also a good idea to let people import their bookmarks and then make an account.

Edit: I see now that in the But... section you mention the import thing. I'd rewrite your main headings to be more persuasive. If one just reads the titles and the first paragraph then one misses the important stuff (as evidenced by my post).

Good point.

Nice resolution - helps a lot imo.

I can see some sort of coordinate system being useful if I wanted to send someone a link to a particular item / patch of cork.

I'd spend the money on hookers and blow. Seriously, a rose by any other name...

Network.

It's a big internet, and sometimes you gotta seek help where you're comfortable.

Are you physically active? If no do yourself a favor and exercise. In my opinion it's the first thing to rule out before taking medicinal measures.

I would also recommend visiting a therapist instead of a GP. Your primary care physician likely knows everything they know about depression from the pamphlets and samples the pharmaceutical companies provide. Your GP will have you fill out a 6 question form asking how sad you feel and then put you on Zoloft. It's worth eliminating social and environmental issues with a psychologist before altering your brain chemistry.

Good luck. It's a really easily treatable problem.

Apart from physical activity, regularly seeing some sunshine (i.e. more than the 2 minutes it takes to walk to a car) is one of the other lifestyle-change options that can sometimes have surprisingly large effects. It's pretty easy to try, at least.

60 designers sounds like a lot to me. What are you saying in your emails? What's your budget? Are you asking us to work for free or 2% of some unquantifiable number?

Don't worry, I am not being rude :)

Of course I don't expect anyone to work for free. I am willing to pay the fair price.

It didn't sound like it from your post, but that's a lot of rejection. Feel free to check me out at joshuarichey.com

If you make something, and it works really well, and lots of people love it, and you own it, well, you can do whatever the hell you want with it. The people who complain about this or that about it can shove off.

Luckily for you, many PIs in the research field agree with you and have lax morals when it comes to torturing innocent defenseless animals. Compliance is a joke and doing whatever the hell you want to whatever creature you want (humans included, mind you) is as easy as checking a box on a piece of paper that nobody reads.

Our species is a virus, and we do whatever we can to protect our own kind until there is nothing else left.
