Hey Greg!

Hey! Who's this?

This makes me sad. For a while, the video player team at Crunchyroll was essentially just me. I spent countless hours fixing bugs and building features, especially around subtitling. The teammate who joined after me really took it to the next level. When I left, the player felt like it was in good hands — they even open-sourced the code for a time.

Can you elaborate?

Not really? I just hear about them providing mundane cloud services.

Think SAP. Software to do stuff and professionals to make it actually somewhat work for you.

Please, this is a place for discussions about technology. Maybe let's not besmirch it with "both sides" politics?

I was honestly looking forward to this.

> Condé Nast and OpenAI have struck a multi-year deal that will allow the AI giant to use content from the media giant’s roster of properties—which includes the New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Bon Appetit, and, yes, WIRED.

I'm disappointed by the fact that this disclaimer isn't more explicit.

You both have very nice game engines.

Scammier than Real Elon Musk? I find that hard to believe.
