You could go to the University of San Francisco - they have an Entrepreneurship program (essentially a BA with startup-related requirements). The great thing is that you'll be a short bus ride from a ton of startup stuff if you're willing to seek it out. That's why I chose here and don't regret it at all.

As a large number of 2+2'ers use the same username/password combo for real money poker sites, this is a fairly big deal. A few years ago it seemed like a ton of the high stakes guys' AIM screen names were being hacked, in order to solicit loans from their friends. Security has been a big problem in the online poker community in general, as these two issues are insignificant compared to both UltimateBet's superuser scandal and the results of Black Friday.

A common maxim I've heard involving bootstrapped startups is that if you don't have the cash to get things done conventionally, you'll be more creative in solving problems that money would've been able to.

So when it comes to governmental privacy threats, I think the same ought to hold true- we don't have the power to stop them, therefore we ought to find creative solutions. I don't know where to start, but a longterm solution in my mind involves more than articles on the Reddit front page. How can we indefinitely protect our right to use the internet in the ways that we choose?

I'd imagine that many HN readers intend to use money from an exit to fund their life after "retirement".
