I'm curious, how would fiddling with navigation impede text extraction? The site renders perfectly fine without javascript, and the markup looks straight forward enough

Depends on how you're browsing. The legacy fallback does not replace it, eg when you have js disabled

None of the emoji implementations use a solid white ghost without something else (border or shadow).

I have JS disabled, and just viewed it in both the legacy mobile view and the legacy desktop view. Neither have what was originally described.

It depends on google analytics and will break unless ga() is defined. Most adblockers spoof it for you, but if you're only blocking requests to trackers the javascript will fail. (eg pi-hole, uMatrix)

I guess it might work with the app. Running slack as a pinned tab in my browser however, it's close to invisible https://imgur.com/a/VgL2fMu

Checkout Musicmap[0], very extensive with history and playlists for each genre. Bit on the heavy side on cpu usage but by far the best one I've found so far.

Yeah, that ought to skew the results a bit. Looks like the top countries remain the same though https://read.oecd-ilibrary.org/transport/road-safety-annual-...

I wonder how many bits of entropy that fingerprint has, though. 8 bits would make for an impressive and scary looking demo, for example, but for ad tracking it would be useless.

I don't think ad tracking is the scary application...

That's a good point, and p = 1/256 is definitely good enough to convince a judge or jury.
