case in point: the lil mouse-snakey-animation-thing on your homepage is excessively satisfying and making me feel lots of things

I found it cute until I realised it didn't disappear when you let it finish shrinking, nor if you click the little blue square. Then I found myself annoyed by it and left the page.

hello! I've been working on a new database for user-owned data, with a focus on privacy and local-first data. launched the docs today, would love all feedback! :)

tldr: i am building a new kind of database, but have a very difficult time figuring out what im really selling, and why it matters.

pls help

ooh ive been following their work[1], they published an interesting paper about transactions accross different data stores[2]

i wonder how it works with long running functions, does it lock the db?

love it - another relevant project: https://www.mainframe.so/ - its a bit finicky when i tried, but interesting.

Hello, author of Mainframe here! I appreciate you sharing it!

It's early days for Mainframe. I agree it's still finicky, and I'm working to change that. What made you feel that way about it?

Feel free to reply here or email me. You can reach me through andre [at] mainframe's domain.

Interesting…

i wanna focus on ppl who play a lot online and are trying to improve rn.
