There is a lot of value on Enterprise Knowledge Graphs, applying the semantic web standards into the "self-contained" world of enterprise data, there are many large enterprises doing it, and there is an interesting video from UBS on how they consider it a competitive advantage

I have the same conclusion, if you capture the model as a graph you can then derive from the graph as many visual representations as you need, for instance, this tool can generate archimate context diagrams from the graph data ( mostly by doing "ontology translation" ) https://github.com/zazuko/blueprint

Yes we do :) and we are actually hiring engineers to the team that builds the software! ( LEGO Digital Designer ) https://www.lego.com/da-dk/careers/search?keyword=digital+de...

Can this role be remote, or would a hire have to move to Billund?

unfortunately we dont support full remote. but offer a nice relocation package. we hire for software engineers in Billund, Copenhagen and London, we have hired 1000+ last 2 years, massive digital growth

I work at lego and it is awesome, not only we are getting the extra holidays but extra bonus, in previous years we also got extra salary due to performance. by the way we are massively growing our software engineering teams and going through a massive transformation, unfortunately remote is not an option but we have offices in Billund - DK, Copenhagen - DK, London - UK and Shangai - CN. Sorry for the shameless plug !

would you be interested in a job at LEGO ? https://www.lego.com/en-us/careers/jobdescription/cloud-infr...

Thanks for replying. I've had LEGO in the back of my mind but unfortunately I don't think I'd cope with the 1.5hr - 2hr commute in to Billund, unless a few days of remote work could be squeezed in?

Really appreciate the reply :)

lots of people commute from arhus, usually is 1h 1:15h each way, depending where you live, there is also lot of carpooling, but working from home is something that everyone does from time to time ( once a week for instance )

sure you can! check those https://virpil-controls.by/en/shop

Those prices are pretty steep though.

I think you can still get Thrustmaster and Flightstick Pros, but back in the day, I could just go and buy one.

I have not seen a joystick at a retailer in years.

I just bought a relatively cheap ($70 CAD) HOTAS setup at a local retailer a couple of weeks ago. I’m not at home and don’t remember whether it was Logitech or Thrustmaster, but it’s a great setup for playing X-Plane. If I wanted to be more realistic, I should have bought a yoke and pedals, but that was more in the $200+ range and I’m not sufficiently committed... yet.

SAP Is actually pretty good in eating their own dog food, usually the problem is that the customers are super slow in adopting the new stuff that SAP releases...I worked at SAP for 9 years.
