John McWhorter suggested that colloquial Indonesian would be an ideal universal language for the world.

fascinating, I am indonesian and since I have spent majority of my life abroad, my indonesian has been stuck in the past. It's very colloquial as in, I cannot speak like a news caster, due to this, I tend to speak english to fellow indonesians simply because I dont know the formal words for ideas that I try to convey, but I can almost make every english word indonesian-ified.

Is there an in-depth howto guide to do this?

FWIW, this is literally exactly how my product PretzelBox (https://pretzelbox.cc) works. We are looking for beta users, if you care to take it for a spin.

A few issues:

- The braced hamburger menu — your logo, actually, on your blog home page redirects to bulma.io.

- There’s no way to switch from the "Very Cool" template back to the original.

Fixed! Thank you so much for pointing them out. Also added a couple of more templates to the menu.

I’ll get these fixed asap! Thanks for highlighting.

I cut off the sleeve of an old fleece pullover. Works great as night cap and eye cover.

(I previously used a sleep mask bought on Amazon but found it slipped off too often. Also, the straps irritated my ears.)

From this thread, it sounds like the second vulnerability doesn't affect spigot or vanilla minecraft:

Also, mojang's update instructions:

Couldn't you do this with Chrome search engines?

IMO, much worse than touch screen buttons is touch screen glare.

Driving westward in the mornings, sunlight is reflected directly off my car's touch screen into my eyes.

Everything on the dash needs to be matte -- it's a safety issue.

I'd say anything in the car, really, but mostly the stuff in front of your eyes. My car has some chrome-like trim on the steering wheel, gear shift, etc. (It's a cheap car, so this is not just a case of it being luxury trim.) The sun occasionally hits them at the right angle to blast straight into my eyes. It's not frequent, but in the wrong circumstances it could cause an accident. Even once is unacceptable.

One possible explanation is that Facebook in US is subject to more adversarial actors than other countries.

A propagandist-for-hire choosing to astroturf, conduct false flag campaigns, form vote brigades, etc. is more likely to target the US political market because -- globally speaking -- there's more political power at stake.

Whether FB can claim that as an excuse is another question.

Vape shops certainly do. This place down the road from Netflix HQ has kid-friendly posters of baby Groot, Spiderman, etc. in its windows.

I'm kind of glad I didn't splurge on too many guitar effects pedals back in the day. Behringer has cloned much of the BOSS line, now available at a fraction of the cost.

https://www.tonestart.com/ultimate-behringer-guitar-pedal-cl...

(Not to mention things like Axe-Fx, which while not cheap, can clone 100s of amps, cabinets, and pedals.)

And if you're more of a bedroom musician, there's software that'll cover the majority of sounds, with a few oddball exceptions. That's why I mostly collect guitar pedals that aren't being made in software, or that I am too lazy to emulate by stringing multiple things together.
