I believe you can still achieve this with tmux by using Command+Option+Click.

Really late, but thanks! It works!

One of my favorite books is Michael Collins's "Carrying the Fire": https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrying_the_Fire:_An_Astronau...

I found a similar issue with the Square Register app for Android. CyanogenMod's PrivacyGuard feature tells me it tried to access my location 22,000+ times in a 2-day period: https://twitter.com/evanw/status/453576355284660224/photo/1/...

I assumed this was a programming issue (perhaps unregulated retries) rather than the app legitimately trying to locate me 10,000 times per day.

That doesn't seem terribly unreasonable. Square needs location data because the Square Wallet auto-pay magic is geofenced with respect to the register.

Anybody have a raw URL for the official video stream?

There isn't one, according to the linked page.

Same here - anybody have a fix?

I've found a bit of a workaround if VLC is crashing, which seems to fix the problem for me.

1. Open VLC, and open the stream as usual

2. Let the stream load - it'll load in lower quality first

3. Before it automatically transitions to the higher quality stream, go to Video --> Video Track --> Disable. The video will now be disabled.

4. Wait for a bit. Go to Video --> Video Track --> Track 1. The video will now be streamed in its highest quality mode without crashing.

This worked for me, hope it works for others!

Same here (and on mobile too). Seems like mirrors on Ustream are the best option e.g. http://www.ustream.tv/ltktv

Yeah, I think so. I've had a look through the other feeds on ustream, and haven't found one good quality as that one but that doesn't have annoying commentators talking over the presenter. Ah well...

Can you give a link to a low quality one? My problem is I have low speed connection.

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/wwdc-2013-live was one, but I've no idea if it'll be better for slow connections than http://www.ustream.tv/ltktv

That link is choppy and looks crap but it is a lot better than crashing VLC every 5 fucking minutes. Thanks A TON! I expect better from apple.

How does it handle scenarios where files were modified offline on two separate devices? Is it able to identify conflicts?

Look under "What if several people make changes to the same file?" http://forum.bittorrent.com/topic/16410-bittorrent-sync-faq/

TL;DR - Last writer wins.

SourceTree for Windows appears to be written in C#, but their UI is built with WPF which I believe will be a limiting factor for cross-platform compatibility.

Edit: The post title has been changed, but tldr is that Linode is increasing the monthly transfer limit quota 10x because they're upgrading their network infrastructure.

--

It's great that Linode is passing these improvements to their customers free of charge. A while back they increased RAM allocated to all users without increasing prices, which was a great surprise. Things like this make me happy to host my multiple projects with them.

I'm on the stable release, and I just got the v18 release by going to Help --> About and installed the automatic update. Their release notes also indicate that version 18 is now released as well: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/18.0/releasenotes/

I had this same problem once upon a time, so I created a WPF clone of the standard Windows/.NET MessageBox which allows for custom strings for button text (OK, OK/Cancel, Yes/No, YesNoCancel).

It's on Github: https://github.com/evanwon/WPFCustomMessageBox

There's more to be done, but it's been handy for me so far!
