LXC requires Linux. So you can actually use multipass to run LXC on macOS and Windows. I believe that was actually one of the main motivators for the multipass project.

This is similar to magic-warmhole[^1] but has the added plus of being written in golang, which means one doesn't have to install multiple packages, just one binary. Thanks for sharing.

If you want go, there is a magic-wormhole implementation called wormhole-william [1].

Rymdport [2] is a decent cross-platform app using it.
